how a watch should fit
The vast majority of watches on the market today are designed for men, which means they tend to have large case sizes. But that doesn’t mean they won’t look good on a woman’s wrist – in fact, many women prefer the oversized look.
If you’re unsure about what size watch to choose, err on the side of caution and go for a larger case. It’s always easier to adjust a watch band to make it smaller, but you can’t make a watch case bigger.

Wrist Size
To find your wrist size, wrap a measuring tape around your wrist and note the measurement. Alternatively, you can use a piece of string or ribbon and then measure the length with a ruler.
Watch Case Dimensions
Most watch case dimensions are listed in millimeters (mm), so you’ll need to convert your wrist size to mm before you can compare the two measurements. To do this, simply multiply your wrist size by 25.4 (there are 25.4 mm in an inch). For example, if your wrist measures 6 inches, then 6 x 25.4 = 152.4 mm.
